Did you notice the anachronism in the rendering of Dupin's imaginative portrait on the stamp? Sensitive to light, Dupin wore green-tinted sunglasses, but he certainly wouldn't have worn them in 20th century frames. Come to think of it, that haircut doesn't look very 1840's either. Kookie, could you lend him your comb?
